Legal documents filed by trans women reveal that trans inmates have endured widescale persecution, humiliation, suffering, trauma, and brushes with death for many years in Florida prisons.
Mady, I cannot thank you enough for writing the stories of these women to share with us. It helps to see better coverage of these issues... I'm afraid too many people will disregard the serious nature of the harm being done because these women are incarcerated, and that only adds to the tragedy. They deserve to be treated with dignity and care. I am heartsick over what's happening to them.
It seems that the court of appeals should have no problem of returning this decision based on the judge's own subjective opinions rather than the judge's use of factual evidence to make a decision.
Additionally, the judge should be at a minimum censured for not properly using decorum in presenting the plaintiff as they wish to be presented.
If people have to go into the courtroom and use "your honor" when addressing him when he has no honor then he should not have a problem addressing people by their name.
Hopefully the aclu will file the appeal as to the grounds for overturning.
Along with the decision going against the US Constitution.
Is there a possibility, probability or causality gender language had anything to do at all with an apparent backlash?
Take this as an example:
If a medical guideline stops recommending transitioning treatment, that means to GPs that there is no evidence it helps at all, there is no bases to be used as medical treatment.
Now, most GPs, I imagine would stop providing any treatment without bases it works. Evidence based medicine…
Then, people benefiting from talking and/or writing, activists, etc., on Gender lingo could report erroneously, sometimes willfully ignorantly, that the Medical Body not recommending a baseless treatment works sort of for the establishment.
That such medical body is evil, or ill-willed, ignorant and/or prejudicious, stubborn, etc. But, when it recommended in favor of their life´s income might in fact praised such work, despite no real evidence exist even empirically on mental stuff:

This is disgusting. I'm a trans man and can't fathom what I'd do in these womens' shoes. Thank you for writing about this. People need to know.

Would that be evidence gender language is actually harmful and people benefiting from using it won´t speak the truth?, won´t even hear the truth?
